Quality bird box made to Wildlife Trust & BTO specifications.

The Bird Box is hand crafted, Fully Assembled in 18mm Solid Pine. Made to Wildlife Trust and BTO guidelines and treated with a coat of Dark Oak stain for longer life, or if you prefer you can have it stained (outside only) in any one of three colours at no extra charge.

Available in 5 finishes: Dark Oak, Forest Green, Rustic Brown, Linseed Oil or left Untreated.

Please advise preferred option when placing you order.

The hole size is normally 25mm in dia. and primarily attracts Blue-tits, Coal-tits and March-tits. If require an alternative hole size it can be substituted by a different size if you prefer it. Please request this at time of buying.

A guide to hole sizes for different birds ….

25 mm for blue, coal and marsh-tits
28 mm for great-tits, tree sparrows and pied flycatchers.

Also included is an interchangeable front section which is suitable for other birds such as Robins, Wrens, Thrushes, etc.

The roof is hinged for easy access for cleaning or adjusting the camera and has a locking mechanism for securing it.

Inside the box is a small ledge that allows the young to climb up to the hole and  have a peek at the new world outside when they are about to leave the nest.

There are several holes in the bottom to allow for drainage if or when required.

This version would be best suited where there would be several obstacles between the monitor/TV and the bird box. Such as multiple walls, woods, etc. The cable length is 20 mtrs (65ft).

This custom built Bird Box has integral Colour Camera (with IR lights for night vision).

This is a complete kit. No assembly required, simply plug in and sit back and watch in amazement.

The integrated camera can either be Wireless or Wired; this will best be determined by your layout situation. e.g. if you have several walls between your monitor/TV receiver then perhaps the wired version may suit better than the wireless version. The Wireless kit can relay pictures and sound up to 100 mts clear of multiple obstacles.
This kit requires a power source to be close to the camera but extension cable could be used.
