This special custom built Bird Box has 3 Individual nesting boxes. Particularly for House Sparrows. With the house sparrows in decline this is an excellent way to help build up the sparrow population. House Sparrows are colony birds and prefer to build their nests together. House Sparrows are now red-listed birds of conservation concern. Hand Crafted, Fully Assembled, 18mm solid pine & External ply as recommended by BTO and made to Wildlife Trust and BTO (British Trust for Ornithology) guidelines. The lid is hinged for easy access to all 3 compartments. and the front panel is secured by 5 screws, again easy access for cleaning out the whole box. Can be finished in any one of 5 options ..... Dark Oak, Sorest Green, Rustic Brown, Linseed Oil or left untreated. There is no extra cost for the finish. This is a complete kit. No assembly required, simply site the box a minimum height of 7 ft. Nesting Information on Sparrows
